Spring Break Camp - The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe

Calendar Apr 6, 2026 at 9 am, runs for 1 week
  • Ages: 7-13
  • Rehearsals: Monday through Friday from 9am-4pm 
  • 2 Performances: Sat, April 11 & Sun. April 12 at 2pm. Actors arrive at Noon both days. 
  • Please Bring Daily: Re-sealable water bottle & a large sack lunch that can serve as both a lunch and snack (containing NO peanut products, until we can assess actor allergies) 

Tacoma Youth Theatre welcomes young actors of all genders, races, ethnicities & faith traditions to C.S. Lewis's magical tale. 

Typically a good fit for both beginning and practiced young actors, this one-week camp production nurtures and empowers through the collaborative joy of bringing the story to life on stage. Young actors will each have their own speaking, vital role in the NON-MUSICAL production and be proud to welcome friends and family to pay-what-you-can performances at the program's end.

 

Pay-What-You-Can Option: 

All Tacoma Youth Theatre programming offers a pay-what-you-can-option. 

If you require a pay-what-you-can option Email  Maggie@tacomayouththeatre.org

Include: The program(s) for which you want to register, A brief explanation of need/circumstance, The amount you are able to pay, Let us know if your young person receives free or reduced lunch at a Tacoma Public School 

Via email, you will be sent a promo code that will enable you to complete the registration process, paying the amount you are able.

If you require a pay-what-you-can option, please, do NOT attempt to register without first receiving a promo code, as you will be charged the full amount.

Saturdays: Alice in Wonderland

  • Ages 7 - 13
  • Saturdays, from 10am-2:30pm, April 18 through May 30
  • 2 performances: May 30 & 31 at 2pm
    • Actors arrive at 10 am on May 30
    • Actors arrive at noon on May 31

Tacoma Youth Theatre's original adaptation of Lewis Carroll's nonsensical comedy welcomes young actors of all genders, races, ethnicities & faith traditions. 

Typically a good fit for both beginning and practiced young actors, this Saturday program nurtures and empowers through the collaborative joy of bringing the story to life on stage. Young actors will each have their own speaking, vital role in the NON-MUSICAL production and be proud to welcome friends and family to pay-what-you-can performances at the program's end.

After-School M/W: The Hobbit

$400

Calendar Apr 27, 2026 at 4 pm, runs for 6 weeks
  • Ages: 7-13
  • Rehearsals: Mondays & Wednesdays from 4pm-6pm, April 27 through June 7 
  • 2 Performances: Saturday, June 6 & Sunday, June 7 at 2pm.
    • Actors arrive at Noon for both persormance.
  • THIS SCHOOL-YEAR: Optional 3:30-4pm snack time. Bring a sack snack and visit with fellow cast members. Rehearsal begins promptly at 4pm.

Typically a good fit for both beginning and practiced young actors, this after-school production nurtures and empowers through the collaborative joy of bringing the story to life on stage. Young actors will each have their own speaking, vital role in the NON-MUSICAL production and be proud to welcome friends and family to pay-what-you-can performances at the program's end.

  • Ages: 7-14
  • Rehearsals: Tuesdays & Thursdays from 4pm-6pm, May 5 through June 14
  • 2 Performances: Saturday, June 13 & Sunday June 14 at 2pm.
    • Actors arrive at Noon for both performances.
  • THIS SCHOOL-YEAR: Optional 3:30-4pm snack time. Bring a sack snack and visit with fellow cast members. Rehearsal begins promptly at 4pm.

Tacoma Youth Theatre welcomes young actors of all genders, races, ethnicities & faith traditions to Tacoma Youth Theatre's origincal adaptation of the classic fairy tale. Our re-telling of the story does not include a prince (or romance of any variety), although there is the opportunity for a number of great, male characters,
