Tacoma Youth Theatre

5) A Little Princess

with Maggie Knott

$400

  • Ages: 7-13
  • Aug. 4-10, Mon. through Fri, 9am-4pm.
  • Public, pay-what-you-can performances: Saturday & Sunday at 2pm.
    • Actors arrive at noon for both performances.

Perfect for both beginning and practiced young actors, this one-week camp nurtures and empowers through the collaborative joy of bringing the story to life on stage. Young actors will each have their own speaking, vital role in the non-musical production and be proud to welcome friends and family to pay-what-you-can performances at the program's end.

Tacoma Youth Theatre's original adaptation of Frances Hodgson Burnett's A Little Princess welcomes young actors of all genders, races, ethnicities & faith traditions. Our adaptation is a tale of reslience & perseverance in the face of hardship. I am including a content notification for: on-stage violence (a slap), and verbal cruelty to children within the setting of a 1905 boarding school.

Payment plan available: $50 deposit plus 5 payments of $58.33, paid every two weeks. Final payment of $58.35.
