1) Peter Pan
with Maggie Knott

- Ages: 7-13
- June 23 - 29, Mon. through Fri, 9am-4pm.
- Public, pay-what-you-can performances: Saturday & Sunday at 2pm.
- Actors arrive at noon for both performances.
Peter Pan is such a perfect introduction to theatre, Tacoma Youth Theatre has featured it in our logo since our founding. Perfect for both beginning and practiced young actors, this one-week camp nurtures and empowers through the collaborative joy of bringing the story to life on stage. Young actors will each have their own speaking, vital role in the non-musical production and be proud to welcome friends and family to pay-what-you-can performances at the program's end.
Tacoma Youth Theatre's original adaptation of J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan welcomes young actors of all genders, races, ethnicities & faith traditions. Characters include: the Darling family, lost children and pirates.
2) Treasure Island

- July 7-13, Mon. through Fri, 9am-4pm.
- Public,pay-what-you-can performances: 2pm on Sat. & Sun.

Tacoma Youth Theatre's original adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island welcomes young actors of all genders, races, ethnicities & faith traditions. I am including a content notification for: on-stage death (heart attack,) and one character experiencing alcoholism.
3) Sleeping Beauty

4) William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream

5) A Little Princess

- Aug. 4-10, Mon. through Fri, 9am-4pm.
- Public, pay-what-you-can performances: Saturday & Sunday at 2pm.

Tacoma Youth Theatre's original adaptation of Frances Hodgson Burnett's A Little Princess welcomes young actors of all genders, races, ethnicities & faith traditions. Our adaptation is a tale of reslience & perseverance in the face of hardship. I am including a content notification for: on-stage violence (a slap), and verbal cruelty to children within the setting of a 1905 boarding school.
